Timbers U23s Ready to Host Preseason Tournament – Presented by Vagabond Brewing

(The Timbers U23 Preseason Tournament begins this weekend.)

SALEM, Ore. – The Timbers U23s are ready to kick off the 2018 campaign with its preseason tournament at the Capital FC Complex on April 28 and May 6. The preseason tournament, which will host four teams, is presented by Vagabond Brewing.

With two games on both dates, there will be beer gardens and food trucks serving all fans in attendance at the Capital FC Complex.

For both games on both dates at the Capital FC Complex, fans should come ready to enjoy the beer garden provided by Vagabond Brewing, along with food trucks including JT’s Taqueria and BlackRock BBQ.

PDX FC will play Washington Premier FC U23 at 4:30 p.m. on April 28 in one semifinal, while the Timbers U23s will host Twin City Union FC on that same day at 7 p.m. in the other semifinal. The losers and winners will then play one another on May 6 at 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m

Tickets for the tournament cost $9 for adults and $5 for youth and are available to purchase online (here) or at the gate.

In addition to these games, the Timbers U23s will play Starphire FC in an exhibition at South Albany High School on May 2 at 7 p.m.

The squad will then host Kitsap Pumas SC in the US Open Cup on May 8 at 7 p.m. in the team’s first game at McCulloch Stadium in 2018. Tickets are still available, but are running out fast. BUY HERE.
