Portland Timbers U23 Announce Tetherow as Title Sponsor

SALEM, Ore. – The Portland Timbers U23 announced on Thursday evening that Tetherow Resort in Bend, Oregon will be the title sponsor of the squad for its inaugural season in Salem.

As part of the multiyear partnership, Tetherow’s logo will be featured on the game and training jerseys of the team. The Timbers U23 squad will also play a match in Bend later this summer with the award-winning resort and golf course featured as the presenting sponsor of the game.

“Tetherow believes in partnering with organizations that help young people pursue their dreams and goals,” said Chris van der Velde, Tetherow’s Manging Partner.  “At Tetherow we like to support activities that promote healthy lifestyles. This U23 Timbers team represents just that – young athletes working towards their dreams. Being able to be part of the Timbers community and youth soccer in Salem is something we at Tetherow are very proud of. We look forward to a partnership with the Timbers U23 team for several years to come.”

Tetherow encompasses 700 acres on Bend, Oregon’s desirable west side. The resort boasts an 18-hole golf course, 50-room boutique hotel, pool, two restaurants, vacation rental homes, event pavilion, golf academy and various residential neighborhoods.
